Sizing

Viberg sizing is similar to UK sizing. We recommend 1 size smaller than your size as measured on a Brannock device. However, some people with wide feet (E/EE width) will be more comfortable in 0.5 size smaller than their Brannock measured size.

If you do not know your Brannock size, we recommend 1 size smaller than your most common sneaker size, 0.5 smaller than your Red Wing Iron Ranger size, or 0.5 smaller than your Alden Barrie last size.

About the VIBERG SERVICE BOOT - 1035 LAST - BLACK WAXY COMMANDER

The 1035 last is a Viberg favorite especially when used on a plain toe Service Boot. Striking a perfect balance between a roomy, comfortable fit, and a silhouette that is sharp without being overly dressy. Dressed in all black, this Service Boot exudes military heritage style, while Charles F. Stead's Black Waxy Commander gives it a decidedly casual presence.

Waxy Commander leather from Charles F. Stead tannery falls somewhere in between waxed flesh and chamois. Not quite as smooth and uniform as waxed flesh, but not as a wet and nappy as chamois. Just the perfect happy medium with a texture that can almost be described as chewy, like a partially kneaded dough. This leather is very durable and requires little maintenance. And it pairs exceptionally well with both faded denim and chinos.
